Castillo De San Felipe
16th Century Spanish Fort preserved by the Guatemalan Tourist agency.
This Spanish Fort sits at the mouth of the Lago Izabal.
Daily trips to the San Felipe Castle where guests can enjoy
local barbeques, water vehicles and a state park.
Playa Blanca
Twelve passenger boat leaves at 10:30am in the morning
and return around 3:00pm in the afternoon. Lunch, refreshments, beach chairs,
hammocks, beach umbrellas and a guide will be provided. The "Playa Blanca"
has public bathrooms and fresh water showers.
Rio Dulce
Twelve passenger boat leaves at 10:30am in the morning
returning around 3:00pm in the afternoon. For lunch the tour group
will stop at a local favorite restaurant on the Rio Dulce. The tour
will stop by Rio Tatin, Rio Lampara, bath at the "agua caliente"
(hot springs), visit the Biotopo plantation. On the return trip
the tour will stop at the "aldea el cedro" for
a Marimba concert and snacks.
