What is Pathfindering ?

Pathfindering has proven to be one of the great soul-winning agencies of our church, with a leadership that dedicates its time, talents,and energies, to keeping the program running smoothly. It is designed to help Pathfinders sense their God-given destiny and keep them marching together in step toward the Kingdom of GOD.

• Since its adoption in 1950 by the General Conference Youth Department, the Pathfinder Club has developed into a worldwide organization. The inter-personal relationships and the power of influence by consecrated leaders has shaped the lives of thousands of Pathfinders.
• Pathfindering has been successful because it attracts members by a positive "DO" approach. A year-round activity highlighted by conference wide fairs investitures, and camporee's, the Pathfinder Club is for those in grades 5-10 (age 10 to 15).
• The key to the success of any organization is well trained and dedicated leadership.

• The Pathfinder Club is an educational laboratory of the home, school, and church.

• The Pathfinder club will encourage its members to belong to the church, confess their Christian Faith, and take an active part in the fellowship, worship, outreach, and service.
• The Pathfinder Club will involve its members as full partners in all aspects of the church's ministry to its members, to the community, and to the world.
• The Pathfinder Club will challenge its members in the mission and ministry of CHRIST through the church so that GOD's Word becomes meaningful and fruitful in their lives.

• To Lead its members into a growing, redemptive relationship with GOD.
• Build its members into responsible, mature individuals.
• Involve its members in active, selfless service.
